Account messages
I regularly receive an icloud (dropbox) message stating my files will be deleted, is that a message from dropbox? but I don't use much space at all. I don't understand how icloud and dropbox are conn...

Thank you kindly for your response. I suppose that I can therefore identify those messages as phishing spam because they state that it is icloud dropbox and that is what confused me.
I am sorry that I deleted the messages.

Can you provide the full context of the message? Make sure you mask any private information. Dropbox doesn't delete your files, so it's unlikely to be a message from Dropbox.

I feel a bit silly to ask but is Dropbox part of Icloud?

No. iCloud is an Apple product, and a competitor to Dropbox.
