Is there a limit to how many people I can invite to a shared folder?
Is there a maximum number of people I can invite to share a folder? I would like all to have edit level permissions. When I access the share window it seems as if I am limited to listing only 6 or ...
- 7 years agoThanks. I tried again today and learned that the "to" in the share dialog box only shows the first 6 (or so) emails, but you can keep adding email addresses, but they are not visible to you - only the first few. Thanks for the advice.

Hey there @slampert352 - nice to have you on board!
To my knowledge so far, there isn't currently a limit to how many members you can add to a shared folder. Have you tried inputting more email addresses ? One thing to note here would be that you might hit a "You've hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours” error if you try to send a share invite too many times within the same day but this should be resolved as this limit is reset after 24 hours as indicated. This only refers to Dropbox Basic and Dropbox Business trial accounts so if you're on an upgraded account you should be fine.
Having said that, I'd still like to see where this comes from so please send me a screenshot of what you mention.
Let me know what you find. Thanks!
