I have the same problem and I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. I've tried disabling java script (didn't work). I've allowed pop-ups and re-direct for Dropbox.com (didn't help). I use Chrome, but I've tried other browsers (didn't help). My problem is that someone shared a huge file with me that I didn't ask for and don't want, but I cannot get rid of it! I've contacted the owner, and he doesn't even see me on the "can edit" list. What the heck is going on?

Hey American Swede, where do you currently see this file exactly?
If you can send a screenshot, omitting any personal info, would also be really helpful.

The instructions for moving stuff from Google drive to Dropbox say to click something that does no exist. Is there an alternative option?
- Click “…” (ellipsis).

Hi!
I solved my problem by simply using the app! For some reason, the delete symbol wasn't shown or available on the website via my PC, but to my surprise and relief, the app had it and I was able to delete that whole big folder in one second.
