How to delete a backup?
Hi, I recently logged on and found that my Dropbox folder was full (2GB). On investigation this was because an old laptop was being backed up. I removed it using the desktop app preferences yesterday, but the files have still not been deleted. It does not appear in the list of linked devices on my account either. How on earth do I delete the files and make Dropbox usable again?

Removing a device from your account doesn't delete files. You can manage your backups from the Backups page.

Thank you so much for that - I've just gone and deleted everything. I really don't understand why that link isn't on (for example) https://help.dropbox.com/organize/how-to-manage-dropbox-backup though now that I know the link I can suddenly see it everywhere else!

Hey Rich! I'm trying to delete my backup as well. Followed the link & tried to delete the backup but getting an error that says "Couldn't delete 1 item". Any ideas?
Thanks!- Cardinal1Explorer | Level 4
Not a clue, sorry! Maybe start a new thread?
