hidden files

My dropbox is full and I'm told I need to upgrade. But I'd rather delete files to free up space. But all of a sudden, dropbox won't let me see any of the files/folders. I can't find them on my laptop...

That is actually not the case for me. I know I have a ton of older files that I want to delete but they are not listed, and there is no Recents tab. I found them on the Recents tab on my phone, but there was no option to delete them. This is incredibly frustrating. I feel like it's just another way for a company to force you to buy something.

It isnt a way for Dropbox to force you to buy things. 

 

All your files will appear at www.dropbox.com/home. Everything that is on there and you are syncing are listed there. The other thing is you may have some at www.dropbox.com/backups if you activated that service, 

 

And dont forget Shares use quota: www.dropbox.com/share.

    Ok I found the files - but there is no option to delete them. How do I do that please?
