Editing and deleting folders
All I want to do is edit FOLDER names and delete one or two. All the advice says select all files, hover over the title and click the ellipsis. All very straightforward unless like me you don't get a...

Yes, the left hand menu is only for navigating the Dropbox account.
To edit the folder names, you need to go to the parent folder in the right window and hover over the folder there.

Are you doing this on the Dropbox site directly?
When hovering over the file, do you not see the ellipsis on the right, like in this image?

Hi Jay,
Since my post, which I thought I had removed!, I found that editing the folders in "Finder" helped me to achieve what I wanted to do.
In answer to your question, I get the ellipsis and options when hovering over files within the folders, however I get no options when hovering over the folders under the All Files tab to the left of my screen. I am accessing Dropbox online through my browser.
