Transcript no option to download or export

Hi there

I have been sent a film in Dropbox. I am able to view the autogenerated CC transcript of the film, and it looks pretty accurate.

I would like to download this transcript and then pair it with the film for offline viewing, as a SRT or something.

However, when I follow the steps to download / copy the transcript it is not working.

has this feature been removed ? I followed the instructions as listed here :

https://help.dropbox.com/view-edit/dropbox-replay-video-transcription#:~:text=Copy%20entire%20transcript.-,How%20to%20download%20your%20transcripts%20in%20Dropbox%20Replay,Download%20transcript%20as:

How to download your transcripts in Dropbox Replay

To download your video or audio transcript:

  1. Log in to replay.dropbox.com.
  2. Open the video or audio file you added a transcript to.
  3. In the Transcript sidebar, click “” (ellipsis) in the upper right.
  4. Download transcript as:
  • srt file
  • vvt file
  • Plain text

Could someone help me out with a work around or suggest what I might be doing wrong?

Cheers:)

  • Hi Laura,

Thank you for sending the screenshot! It seems you're viewing the transcript directly in Dropbox, and unfortunately, that interface doesn’t offer a transcript download option.

Just a heads-up, Dropbox Replay is a separate product from Dropbox, and this forum is dedicated to Replay support.
