I can't see the content of my Keynote images after uploading them to Dropbox.
I have been using Dropbox for years to share Keynote files to another computer. This last time my shared file did not include the background images on my slides. (However, they were visible on the ...

Thank you Nancy for your reply. I will put my answers in bold. (I was writing back to you, but had to tend to something else. When I came back it was gone, at least I thought it had vanished. Hopefully this is not a duplication. My apologies if it is.)
To clarify, when the file was uploaded to Dropbox (on the original device), was it opening properly and the issue only occurred when you opened it on a different device?
Yes, all looked fine on the original device. I had no idea there was a problem until I got to church to set up for worship.
Also, if you have any other Keynote files on your Dropbox account, can you test them and let me know if they still show as they did or if the same thing happens there?
My Keynote files were just fine today. I did one thing different when I created the slides. I did not use the Background function, but put the background images on each slide behind texts, etc. I think that solved the problem. Unfortunately, I did not do a test slide using the Background function.
Finally, how exactly do you usually upload your Keynote files to Dropbox?
I upload Keynote using the File/Move to function on my Mac. That seems to work better than sliding the file into my Dropbox Folder. Recently I have found that that way of uploading would be a hit or miss in arriving on the church computer. I always take my iPad as backup to Airdrop the file if it is not on the church computer.
Let me know more info.
While I thought the issue was a Dropbox issue, because that seems to be the common culprit (occurring on both a colleagues computer and the church computer).
However, I now suspect it might be a systems issue. My personal computer has been updated to Sequoia, while I know the church computer is the previous system, and the same for my colleague’s computer. This thought came from chatGPT as a possible cause for the issue.
I apologize for jumping to the conclusion that it was a Dropbox issue. Thank you for addressing my problem.
You might address the uploading issue I sometimes have. What is the best practice for uploading a Keynote file?
Thank. you, Ardis

Hi Ardis, as a Keynote file is known to be a package file, the best method to ensure that the file is uploaded correctly to Dropbox would be to follow these steps.
